Difficult to fault this hotel. It has a lovely boutique feel with a great combined bar dining area. The owner is often seen clearing tables at breakfast and attending directly with customers. This is unusual but highlights his direct hands on role and the attention to customer satisfaction clearly shines through.

Had possibly the nicest bread I’ve ever eaten in my whole life today. It was served with our meal. It tasted like a crumpet but was bread with a crusty edge - utterly delicious!!! |Served with a superb aubergine Rivolo pasta which was very interesting and lovely.

Exceptional all round. Comfortable, clean and spacious room, lovely shower, and plugs next to the bed!! Didn't eat in the restaurant, but the drinks were very reasonably priced for a top hotel (3 pints, 1 shot and mixer, and a soft drink for about £20). Staff were professional, friendly and helpful throughout. Location is pretty much perfect!

Really enjoyed our stay here. We visited for a wedding and stayed two nights. Friendly staff. Can't fault it. Only issue may be the very limited parking at the actual hotel but we found plenty of parking outside on the road just requiring a parking disk that the hotel give you. Overall.... Very good and definitely would stay again.

We had a fabulous stay at the Beaumont, so much so we booked it for our Wedding!! The food was incredible, service was fantastic and the rooms beautifully decorated. Would highly reccomend and we can't wait to have our wedding here next year!

We ate here as a family celebration. I can't fault the food, but the evening just felt rushed. On booking we had requested a table in front of the open kitchen & was told this would be no problem as the restaurant would not be busy at the time we ate. I got the impression at the time that the maître d was not listening. Instead we were given an upper level alcove table & were told they fill this side of the restaurant up first. And there's a fine line between prompt service & a feeling of being rushed. It felt as they wanted us out & table turned around, to get more bums on seats. When we spent £275 on a family meal for 4, I did not expect to be rushed. This was a complete contrast to Bouchon where we ate recently and were given all the time in the world to enjoy our evening without being rushed or wanting to resell our table, and in my opinion with superior food, drinks & certainly service.
